Oak Creek Woman Leaves Money On Store Shelf; Shoppers Take It To Pay For Groceries
A woman who left nearly $400 on a Woodman's store shelf lost it, only to learn other shoppers took it and used it to pay for groceries.

OAK CREEK, WI — A Woodman's customer lost a small fortune literally on one of the store's shelves is out the money after authorities could not locate the other shoppers who swiped the money.
According to Oak Creek police reports, a Woodman's store employee reported that a customer left between $345-370 in the Tuna Fish asile of Woodman's only to have a young couple take the money and not give it back.
An unknown customer who left the scene prior to police arrival told a store employee that he watched as the couple in the aisle picked the money off the shelf and left the scene. The man was described as wearing a red sweatshirt and khaki pants.

It was not known whether the couple left on foot or in a vehicle.
A store employee stated when the female half of the couple went to the cashier's asile, she purchased the couple's goods with a similarly large amount of money in her purse.
