Pick 'n Save Workers Had Theft Suspect Surrounded

The suspect had selected meat to steal, but placed it back in the freezer when he reportedly saw that store security was on to him.

OAK CREEK, WI — Oak Creek police responded to the Pick 'n Save on June 17 just before 2 p.m. on a trespassing complaint.

According to police reports, store staff and Franklin police (who were in the area) had a retail theft suspect surrounded and called Oak Creek police to complete handling the situation.

Reports indicate the suspect had selected meat to steal, but placed it back in the freezer when he reportedly saw that store security was on to him.

The man had been implicated in multiple retail thefts at the Pick 'n Save before, and had signed a "no trespass" agreement, which barred him from entry there.

While investigating, officers also determined that the suspect also had needles, tins and a rubber tourniquet in his possession, and admitted that he used them for heroin.
