Drunk Driver Registers a .24 on Shepard
Oak Creek police pulled over the driver of a vehicle on the 8400 block of S. Shepard just after 9 p.m. on Oct. 30 after a report that the driver was swerving and went into the gravel at the intersection of Howell and Drexel.
When police made contact with the male driver, he admitted that he drank "a lot" that night and there was a strong odor of inxoicants in his presence.
The officer on scene subjected the man to field sobriety tests, which he reportedly failed.
The man was subsequently taken into custody and administered a breath test, revealing a BAC of .24, approximately three times the legal limit for OWI.

Man With Severe Cut Transported to Hospital
Oak Creek police responded to the Sunsrise Shores trailer community on a report of a fight and the sound of glass breaking.

Police responded just before 6 a.m. on Oct. 30. Upon investigation, police learned that a man woke up with a headache and punched a window of his trailer unit out of frustration, causing a deep laceration in the man's arm.
When police arrived, they observed the man with the cut and blood on his clothing.
The man was transported to St. Luke's South Shore due to the severe cut.
