Police Called After Movie-Goer Scared of Confederate Flag-Wearing Person

While at the South Shore cinema, a person who felt threatened by a Confederate Flag-wearing person, and called police.

OAK CREEK -- A person who went to the South Shore Cinema on Dec. 20 saw something that scared them, and prompted to call police.

According to the report, a 911 caller reported a white person wearing a Confederate-flag hoodie walked into the theater and the caller though that wearing "something like that was illegal."

The caller reported that they were concerned of the large group of subject with the hoodie-wearing man, and reported being concerned for their safety of being in the theater with someone who was wearing that flag.

The 911 caller reportedly disconnected as officers were being dispatched, and authorities were unable to re-establish contact with the caller.

Police ended up going out to the scene and did not locate anything suspicious.
The officer ended up making contact with the caller, who advised the caller about the freedom of speech.
