Police Investigate Cindy Lane Vehicle Break-In

Oak Creek police responded to the 10000 block of S. Cindy Lane just after 3 p.m. on Feb. 2 on a report of a vehicle break-in.

OAK CREEK, WI — Oak Creek police responded to the 10000 block of S. Cindy Lane just after 3 p.m. on Feb. 2 on a report of a vehicle break-in.

According to police reports, an unknown suspect rummaged through a vehicle overnight between Feb. 1 and Feb. 2 and stole a $20 bill and a blue fleece blanket with white snowflakes on it.

The report states that although there was snow around the vehicle, it had frozen to ice, preventing investigators from obtaining any usable footprints as evidence.
