OAK CREEK, WI — A man who tried throwing a marijuana blunt past an Oak Creek Police officer couldn't fool him during a traffic stop.
Oak Creek police made a traffic stop on the 10400 block of S. Oakview Parkway for a non-registered auto.
According to police, while on the call, the officer smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle.

As the officer asked the driver to exit the vehicle due to the odor, the man began reaching into the center console.
The officer gave four orders to exit the vehicle and not reach for anything, but the man attempted to throw a burnt marijuana roach out of the car past the officer.

The officer escorted the man from the vehicle and detained him, and conducted a search of the vehicle, revealing marijuana hidden under the parking brake lever and under the manual gear shift assembly for a total weight of 3.2 grams.
He was cited for possession of marijuana and obstructing an officer.
