Red Roof Inn Pot Smokers in Oak Creek Prove to Be 5-Pack of Trouble

Though they were busted in Oak Creek, police in Ozaukee County, Franklin, Muskego and Waukesha were looking for at least one of them.

OAK CREEK -- A noise complaint at the Red Roof Inn on Oct. 22 led to several parties being busted for smoking pot.

According to the police report, officers stopped at the Red Roof Inn on S. 13th St. just before 11 p.m. on the 22nd after a clerk reported excessive noise coming from one of the rooms.

Police responded to the room, but were initially told by a female standing outside that they were not allowed in as the female attempted to quickly enter the room. She was detained in handcuffs at that time.

Officers observed that several parties were in the bathroom of the hotel room. After issuing numerous commands for the parties to exit the bathroom, police were eventually allowed inside.

Upon entering the room, officers observed a bong used for smoking marijuana located on the toilet seat, a person holding a lit torch, a packet of marijuana dabs on the floor and five people in the bathroom actively in the process of smoking marijuana dabs.

The Five Suspects

The female was cited for obstructing an officer.

A second person was found to have a valid commitment with Waukesha police for possession of THC.

A third person was found to hold a valid commitment with the Ozaukee County Sheriff's office for outstanding child support.

A fourth person was found to have a valid warrant with Franklin police for retail theft.

And the fifth person was turned over to her father at the Oak Creek police department but when her father arrived, he was drunk and also found to have a valid commitment with Muskego police.
