School Bus Driver Tries Driving Away With Upset Parent's Arm Stuck In Door

A school bus driver was arrested after he tried driving away from an angry parent - with the parent's arm still stuck in the bus door.

OAK CREEK, WI -- A bus driver in Oak Creek faces a disorderly conduct charge after authorities say he shut the bus doors on a parent and drove away - while his son was on the bus and the parent's arm was lodged in the door.

According to a report out of WISN, a male bus driver for the Riteway Bus Service reportedly tried to physically remove a 14-year-old middle school student from the bus on Friday.

According to the report, when the parents learned that the same bus driver was back on his route on Monday, the father attempted to address the issue with the bus driver himself while he was on his route.

"I took two steps as the bus started moving, and I'm trying to yank my arm out of here. It was trapped in the door, father Chris Lopez told WISN. "I yanked really hard and pulled it out."

According to police, the 67-year-old bus driver returned to the school with all of the children including the man's son. He was subsequently arrested for disorderly conduct.
