Walmart Shooting Results in Arrest; Franklin Store Locked Down early Friday
One person was arrested early Friday morning after a report of gunshots fired near the 27th St. Walmart store in Franklin.

FRANKLIN, WI — One person was arrested early Friday morning after a report of gunshots fired near the 27th St. Walmart store in Franklin.
According to Franklin police, at 1:37 a.m., officers from the Franklin Police Department with assistance from the Oak Creek, and Greenfield Police Departments responded to a report of Gunshots in the 2700 block of W. Sycamore Street, Franklin.
Responding officers located the suspect and took him into custody.

No one was injured during the incident and there is no further danger to the public.
The investigation is ongoing and the case will be reviewed by the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office at a later date.

According to a WTMJ report, police were on the scene around 4 a.m., and were seen entering and exiting the store. Around 6: 30 a.m. police towed a black car away from the scene after police were took pictures and inspecting it.
