St. Matthew's Church Vandalized, Police Looking for Suspects

OAK CREEK, WI — The Oak Creek Police Department needs the public's help finding four juveniles that vandalized St. Matthews Church on July 1.

According to police, four juveniles came through the south side of the property, near Northbrook and Regency on the evening of July 1.

The four juveniles reportedly played basketball. Between 10:18 pm - 10:40 pm, police say they damaged four windows by picking up landscaping rocks and throwing them, and also damaged a door.

According to police, they then entered the church where they continued to cause more damage inside of the building. Nothing was taken, but the church estimates that about $5,000 in damage was done.
