Thieves Steal Oak Creek Woman's Car Out Of Driveway
An Oak Creek woman had her car stolen right out of her driveway, and it was found running in an alley in Milwaukee.

OAK CREEK, WI —An Oak Creek woman had her car stolen right out of her driveway, and it was found running in an alley in Milwaukee.
Oak Creek police responded to the 1000 block of W. Wake Forest Ct. just after 2:30 a.m. on Aug. 6 on a report of a vehicle theft.
According to reports, a woman reported her vehicle was stolen out of her driveway sometime after 1:30 a.m. that morning. A resident in the house noticed the motion-sensor lights go on around 2 a.m. and when she went outside to see what was happening, noticed their vehicle wasn't there any more.

Officers investigated, and found some paperwork on the ground that had been piled on the vehicle's front seat. The officer took those documents to see if they could be processed for fingerprints.
Just before midnight on Aug. 6, Milwaukee police reported locating the stolen vehicle in an alley at 10th and Dakota. Police noted the vehicle, which was left running in the alley, had minor damage to the driver's side door and moderate damage to the rear passenger side.

B&B towed the vehicle to the Oak Creek Police Department so it could be processed. The front plate was missing from the vehicle.
