Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Charges for Oak Creek Driver
A traffic stop on the 700 block of E. Ryan Rd. for an expired registration led to drug charges for the driver.

OAK CREEK -- A traffic stop on the 700 block of E. Ryan Rd. for an expired registration led to drug charges for the driver.
According to the police report, upon approaching the vehicle, an officer detected the odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle.
When the driver was asked if there was any marijuana in the vehicle, the driver stated he threw it on the passenger seat when he was pulled over.

Upon a search of the vehicle, the officer located marijuana in a pill bottle with white tape around it. The total weight was 2.2 grams.
Four more bags of marijuana were located in a black shoe bag in the vehicle. 12.1 more grams of marijuana were located inside. The officer issued a citation for possession of marijuana.
