Traffic Violations Turn into Much More for Bad Driver

Three grams of marijuana, a glass pipe, a chore boy scouring pad were gathered as evidence.

OAK CREEK -- The driver of a vehicle who reportedly failed to stop for a stop sign and was also speeding along the 1000 block of W. Ryan Road on Sunday ended up in more trouble than just traffic citations.

Oak Creek police conducted the traffic stop just before 9 p.m. Sunday after observing the driver commit the aforementioned moving violations.

Upon further investigation, the officer on scene observed in plain view, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The driver was also reportedly intoxicated and was taken into custody for OWI-1st offense and transported to Wheaton Franciscan in Franklin for a blood draw.

The vehicle was towed from the scene.
