Weekend OWI Arrests in Milwaukee County Jan. 28-29, 2017
Nine drivers were arrested on suspicion of OWI in Milwaukee county over the weekend from Milwaukee, Mukwonago, Oak Creek and others.

MILWAUKEE COUNTY, WI — Sheriff David A. Clarke Jr. ordered a continued an aggressive Driving Under the Influence (DUI) initiative to rid the Milwaukee County freeway system of drunken drivers. This weekend’s Operation Drive Sober initiative, from Friday at 4:00 p.m. through Sunday at 6:00 a.m., resulted in the arrest of nine drunken drivers. The average PBT result was .13.
Four repeat offenders were arrested: Eric Thompkins, age 33, of Milwaukee, for DUI-3rd; Robert Billings, age 33, of Milwaukee, for DUI-2nd; Abigail Netzow, age 27, of Milwaukee, for DUI-2nd; and Cristoval Rocha, age 31, of Mukwonago, for DUI-2nd (photo not yet available).
Billings faces additional potential charges of Felony Fleeing, Operating While Revoked, Resisting/Obstructing Officer, and Recklessly Endangering Safety, after he did not stop and fled from deputies on I-43 westbound near Loomis Avenue. West Allis police officers joined the pursuit and set up stop sticks to stop his vehicle on S. 71st Street in West Allis. Billings faces up to 14 years, 10 months in prison if convicted.

First-time offenders taken into custody were: Leanne Ast, age 36, of Oak Creek; and Milwaukee residents: Sisy Vang, age 26; Benjamin Lippert, age 30; Jeremy Fontanez, age 21; and Aquilius Nixon, age 35.
