Women Ordered to Remove Clothing after Gun Standoff

Two women were robbed at gunpoint and ordered to remove their clothes - but not before one of the women drew her own weapon.

OAK CREEK, WI — A deadly situation that could have resulted in a shootout in an Oak Creek hotel has turned into an investigation after two women were robbed at gunpoint, ordered to remove their clothes and hand over their belongings - but not before one of the women drew her own weapon.

According to police reports, just after 4 a.m. on April 30, a clerk at the Oak Creek Value Inn on S. 20th St. reported to police that guests in one of the hotel rooms were robbed at gunpoint and had their phone and keys stolen from them in their room.

According to police, a female occupant was returning to her room with ice when someone came from behind her and put a gun to her head.

The female occupant stated that three men wearing all black and two with masks made her open her motel room door and go inside. Her roomate drew her own firearm on the three men when the entered the room.

One of the men stated "you shoot, we shoot." According to the police report, the female lowered her gun and one of the men took the gun from her.

The men ordered the two women to remove their clothes, took their phones, $172 in cash, their car keys, their gun and ran from the room to the Interstate.

According to the report, neither of the women saw which car the men got into as they fled.

When police investigated, they used a "find my iPhone" app to determine that one of the women's iPhones was found laying on the interstate. The investigation is ongoing.
