1. SDR elementary and middle school students encouraged to add a fruit or veggie to their lunch to get free milk (starjournalnow.com) — Families with children in School District of Rhinelander elementary and middle schools can get their student a free carton of milk at lunch when the child also takes a fruit or vegetable, making the whole meal free. District officials say many students still bring cold lunch and pay separately for milk, even though adding produce would cover everything.
