• The Richland Hospital and Clinics is taking significant steps to prioritize women's breast health during Breast Cancer Awareness Month (wrco.com) — Richland Center residents can get walk-in screening mammograms every Thursday in October at The Richland Hospital and Clinics, with extended hours from 10 AM to 6 PM. Women 40 and older, at least a year from their last screening, can simply bring insurance information and a provider name, supporting early detection during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
   

• Volleyball Recap: Seneca's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to 11 (maxpreps.com) — Richland Center volleyball fans will note that Seneca extended its winning streak to 11 with a tight 2-1 win over Riverdale, then followed up with a 2-0 victory over Richland Center on the 26th. Riverdale bounced back the same day with a 2-0 win against Necedah, keeping conference play competitive for area teams.
