Grief Support Program for Children, Teens and Families

Healing Hearts of Waukesha County, Inc. is offering a peer-to-peer support program for children and teens who are grieving the loss of a loved one due to death, divorce, separation, incarceration, military deployment, or immigration.

This 12-week program begins Monday, October 1, 2012.  Weekly meetings will take place from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at 121 Wisconsin Avenue, Waukesha.  Parents or guardians of the child and teen participants are welcome to attend a grief peer-support program that meets at the same time as the children’s session.

The Healing Hearts program is free to all participants.  Spanish-speaking families are welcome, and child care is provided for two- and three-year-olds of adult participants.
