Daily Food Specials Way to Save When Dining Out

I love to go out to eat.  I also know that food prices, especially at restaurants, are going up.  It’s time for the Greggster, and maybe you too, to become thrifty with food purchasing at restaurants.  Therefore, I give you the top five food deals in Waukesha – Monday through Friday.  This column comes with a disclaimer.  If you eat out too much, you will start to look like me.

Monday

Let’s start with Monday.  It doesn’t have to be, “just another manic Monday,” when you go to on East Main Street and order tacos for $0.50 a piece, hard shell or soft shell. Black olives and sour cream cost extra.

Tuesday

I really don’t work for , but I want to promote their Facebook page, and here’s why.  You can get special Toppers Tuesday deals every week, like Toppers sticks for only $0.20 when you order a pizza.  What?  That’s nuts!  You only have to say that you heard about the special on Facebook.  There are actually two Toppers locations in Waukesha, one on North Grandview Boulevard that has nice leather furniture and a couple TVs and one on Highway 18 next to the Starbucks on the east side of Waukesha. You know that I am a Facebook addict, so I am going to tell you that you can get discounts for many different places on Facebook.

Wednesday

Are you hungry for tacos again?  Sure, who isn’t!  Go to also on North Grandview Boulevard for $1 tacos on Wednesdays. Master Z’s also has deep-fried soft shells as a shell choice, om nom nom!  (I also found out about this special by “liking” their Facebook page. ) Like Fuzzy’s, some toppings are extra.  If you don’t like tacos, you can be like my friend Justin and order chicken tenders or one of their other great-tasting appetizers.

Thursday

Everybody, well, I guess now you are a part of everybody, knows that Thursday is Wing Day at on Sunset Drive.  Regulars to this place affectionately know it as BW3s or B-Dubs.  It’s located in the new Shoppes at Fox River on Sunset.  If you don’t like regular wings, they do have boneless for an extra price. Feel free to play some trivia on the screens while you are eating and watching the big game.  If you are wondering, I have never taken the “Blazin Challenge.”

Friday

It is currently Friday as I write this and my mouth is watering for an fish fry.  What impresses me about this place is that soup, salad bar and dessert are included with the fish fry.  It’s only $9.95.
