A November to Remember at HAWS!

This month at HAWS experience Holiday Pet Portraits, TTouch for Little Critters, Tails-Tales & Treats talks and more!

Remember HAWS, the Humane Animal Welfare Society of Waukesha County, for all the great activities for pets and their people this November!

Holiday Pet Portraits make wonderful gifts and holiday cards! Reservations are required: call 262-542-8851 for your pet’s session at HAWS November 8th – 9th. All proceeds support HAWS.

The hands-on T-Touch for Little Critters is Sunday, November 22nd, from 1:00-3:00p.m. Dr. Claudeen McAuliffe demonstrates how specific touches release tension and build lasting bonds. Fees are $20 for adults, $12 for children (includes materials). Pre-registration required: 262-542-8851 or hawspets.org.

HAWS’ free β€œTails, Tales & Treats” luncheons return on November 24th with β€œHumane Interventions” – stories from Waukesha County’s Humane Officers. To register, call 262-542-8851, x112.

Looking ahead:
Registration is now open for HAWS’ Kids β€˜N Critters Winter Day Camp. Several sessions are available from December 22nd -31st. Spend the break from school with the creatures at HAWS!

HAWS’ 4th Winter Symposium on Saturday, January 10, 2015 features speakers John Ciribassi, DVM, Manette Kohler, DVM and Claudeen McAuliffe, Ph.D. Topics include Canine Body Language, Reiki and Shelter Dog Evaluations. Complete class details and registration available at hawspets.org.

HAWS’ November programs include the FREE Solving K9 Behavior Problems seminar (11/18), β€œPet”-icures for small animals (11/12 & 15) and cats (11/8 & 25), Pet First Aid (11/22) and the GPA-WI greyhound meet’n’greet (11/22).
