Rally Sunday Celebration Sept. 7
Christ the King Church of Delafield will hold its Rally Sunday Celebration on Sept. 7, featuring music, kids activities, a hog roast & more.

Christ the King Lutheran Church of Delafield, at 1600 N. Genesee St., is opening its doors to parishioners and the general public for its Rally Sunday 2014 festivities on Sunday, September 7.
The event will begin with a 9 a.m. outdoor worship service featuring the music of singer/songwriter/guitarist and recording artist Dave Gerhartz. Persons attending are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating.
After the service, at 10:15, thereβll be games, stick-on tattoos, and other activities for kids, and adults will have a chance to register children for Sunday School and confirmation classes, to learn more about All Godβs Children Preschool offered at Christ the King, as well as to learn about ongoing Christ the King projects. At 11 a.m., new Pastor Lindsay Jordan will invite kids who helped raise money for ELCAβs Fight Malaria Campaign to have a chance to βPie The Pastorβ for fun. A hog roast and meal will then follow for everyone at 11:30.

Pastor Jordan indicated that visitors are encouraged to attend this gala event and see firsthand how vibrant Christ the King Lutheran Church is and its regard for parishioners as well as the community in general.
An ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church in America) church, Christ the King, located at 1600 N. Genesee Street, Delafield, continually welcomes new members. Weekly worship services continue on Sundays at 9 a.m. until the new schedule comes out starting Sunday, September 14.
