Reception for Vets and Military Nov. 9
Christ the King Lutheran Church to Pay Tribute to Vets and Military at a Public Reception on Nov. 9, at 1600 N. Genesee St., Delafield.

Christ the King Lutheran Church, 1600 N. Genesee St., Delafield, will be giving thanks to God for the service and sacrifices of current military as well as all veterans during a reception at approximately 9:15 a.m., on Sunday, November 9, between the 8:15 and 10:15 church services.
The general public, as well as all veterans and military currently serving in the armed forces and/or their family members, are invited to attend. The reception will take place in the Great Hall of the church and will feature the band, A Little Bit of Heaven, playing patriotic music. Refreshments will be served.
βOur goal with this Veteransβ Day observance is to give thanks to God for those men and women who have served and are currently serving as well as their families,β said Pastor Lindsay Jordan of Christ the King. βThey have made and continue to make countless sacrifices to secure freedom for all of us. It is important that we recognize them!β
