What is certain to be a lot of fun for the little ones, along with a good learning experience, is being offered to the general public by All God’s Children Preschool at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 1600 N. Genesee Street, Delafield, from June 16 through July 10.
Called a Safari Adventure, the program is for preschoolers from ages 3-5 and includes supervised learning and playing time for that four-week period. Two-day sessions of Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-11:30 a.m. may be selected for the four weeks of the program.
Activities included in the safari adventure will be music, counting activities, creative projects, story-telling, and playtimes based on safari animal themes. The program will be run by teachers, include a daily snack, and will be indoors and outdoors based on weather.
The charge is $130 per child for the four-week sessions, with signups taken through June 13, based, however, on limited availability.
Signups are made through Laurie Wilson at All God’s Children Preschool at Christ the King, 262-646-2136, or via email at AGCisfun@centurytel.net. More information on the safari program can also be obtained online at www.allgodschildrenpreschool.com.
Christ the King Church is also offering a “Workshop of Wonder” Vacation Bible School program on June 9-13 from noon to 3 p.m., with additional daycare provided from 3-5 p.m., for children from preschool through fifth grade. Call the church office at 262-646-2343 or visit www.ctkdelafield.org for more information and to sign up.
An ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church of America) church, Christ the King serves the Greater Lake Country area and continually welcomes new members. Weekly worship is on Sundays at 9 a.m.
