The program offers homework help, enrichment activities, mentorship, and snacks right in neighborhood schools, aiming to give more local students safe, consistent afterschool support. 
• Warhawks win Early Bird Invite, OriOwls finish third (gmtoday.com) — A girls swimming and diving invitational at Wauwatosa West High School saw Hartford/Slinger open its season with a strong third-place finish in a 12-team field, just behind Germantown and DSHA. The OriOwls shined in relays and individual events, with multiple wins from Reese Leider and standout sprint performances from Kalia Lampi and teammates across several strokes and distances.
• Wisconsin Restaurant Association: Announces 2026 Women in Hospitality Award recipients (wisbusiness.com) — Two Wauwatosa hospitality leaders—at Atira Hotels and Eddie Martini Enterprises—are among the Wisconsin Restaurant Association's 2026 Women in Hospitality honorees, highlighting local talent on a statewide stage. The awards recognize 20 trailblazing women plus rising stars and a student achiever, with formal recognition coming at the Women in Hospitality Conference in Madison this September.
