• Forever Summer in Milwaukee (pcma.org) — Wauwatosa gets a spotlight here as a colorful, artsy Milwaukee suburb worth a dedicated visit, from mural-filled North Avenue to indie shops and Cranky Al's doughnuts. The writer also highlights nearby Firefly Grove Park's giant recycled-wood troll sculpture, making the case that "Tosa" is an essential side trip for anyone exploring greater Milwaukee.
• Cross Country: Felsing breaks school record to lead Phoenix at Wisco invite (wdtimes.com) — Wauwatosa East's cross-country teams turned in strong performances at the Wisconsin Lutheran Viking Invitational in West Allis, with the girls finishing just four points behind winner Verona and the boys placing fourth. Luther Prep's Rachel Felsing stole the show by breaking her school's record in the 5K, highlighting a fast, competitive field that included several familiar suburban programs.
