Natrona County health and food inspections (9/4/26–9/10/26) (oilcity.news) — Food safety inspections across Casper and Natrona County from Sept. 4–10 found a mix of minor and more serious violations at popular restaurants, preschools, and cafes, with several requiring rechecks. Every issue must be corrected quickly, and full inspection details for each Casper-area establishment are available through the health department.
   

2. What It's Like Inside The Fragile Maze Of Hell's Half Acre, Wyoming's Alien Canyon (cowboystatedaily.com) — Just west of Casper, Natrona County and Visit Casper are preparing curated, guided tours into the otherworldly landscape of Hell's Half Acre, ending years of unofficial, fence-hopping visits. The story vividly explores the canyon's geology, movie history, wildlife, and future as a carefully protected attraction that could become a distinctive day trip for Casper residents and visitors.
   

3. Natrona County recent applications for marriage (9/2/26–9/8/26) (oilcity.news) — Natrona County has released its latest list of couples who applied for marriage licenses between Sept. 2 and 8, giving Casper residents a snapshot of upcoming local weddings. While not comprehensive, it highlights many neighbors preparing to tie the knot in the community.
   

4. EPA grants small refinery exemptions (agrinews-pubs.com) — A Casper refinery operated by HF Sinclair received a partial exemption from federal 2025 renewable fuel blending rules, as part of 29 small refinery waivers granted nationwide. The EPA plans to restore the exempted volumes in 2026–27, a move that could affect fuel markets and, indirectly, agricultural demand while giving the local refinery some short-term regulatory relief.
   

5. World War II-Era Wyoming Wildcatter To Fly Again In National Air Championship (cowboystatedaily.com) — A vintage T-6 warbird with deep roots in Casper aviation, now owned by local businessman and pilot Virgil Tatman, is returning to competition at the National Championship Air Races in Roswell. Tatman, who bought and rebuilt the Wyoming Wildcatter, is embracing his rookie status while representing Casper's long-running air racing legacy on a national stage.
