World War II-Era Wyoming Wildcatter To Fly Again In National Air Championship (cowboystatedaily.com) — A vintage T-6 warbird with deep roots in Casper aviation, now owned by local businessman and pilot Virgil Tatman, is returning to competition at the National Championship Air Races in Roswell. Tatman, who bought and rebuilt the Wyoming Wildcatter, is embracing his rookie status while representing Casper's long-running air racing legacy on a national stage.
