4. Cheyenne advances Cox Ranch annexation despite resident concerns over bundled BOPU land (capcity.news) — Cheyenne is advancing annexation of the 1,260-acre Cox Ranch west of town, paving the way for a proposed data center despite vocal resident concerns. A key controversy is the Board of Public Utilities' decision to bundle its separate 10-acre water treatment parcel into the same annexation ordinance, which city staff say is legal and efficient but some neighbors view as a troubling precedent.
   

5. Cheyenne Regional Medical Center named GO2 for Lung Cancer Center of Excellence (wyomingnews.com) — Cheyenne Regional Medical Center has become Wyoming's first GO2 for Lung Cancer Center of Excellence, recognized for its lung cancer screening and follow-up of incidentally found nodules. That means Cheyenne-area patients at higher risk can access nationally recognized early-detection and coordinated care close to home, with structured tracking, smoking-cessation support, and multidisciplinary review to catch and treat cancers earlier.
