• New DAV Chapter Proposed for Wheatland, Wyoming Veterans (news-usa.today) — Douglas-area veterans may soon have a much shorter trip for help with VA benefits, as organizers work to launch a new Disabled American Veterans chapter based in Wheatland that will serve Douglas, Torrington, and surrounding counties. They're trying to recruit at least 25 members so DAV will provide training and an office, giving local veterans and families a closer, dedicated resource for filing claims.
