She’s one of 10 UW students statewide selected in a highly competitive national program that supports Pell Grant recipients in studying abroad, showcasing opportunities and recognition available to Laramie-based UW students.

• 20-year-old Arizona man killed in Platte County rollover (oilcity.news) — A 20-year-old Arizona man was killed May 23 in a rollover on Wyoming Highway 34 between Wheatland and Laramie, a route many local drivers use. Investigators say he failed to navigate a wide curve, overcorrected, and his pickup overturned in a nearby field. Troopers ruled out road and weather conditions, and a passenger survived with injuries.
