Stolen Bicycle Returned to San Ramon Bicyclist Who Rides for Charity
A San Ramon police detective worked to recover the woman's sole mode of transportation.
SAN RAMON, CA — A San Ramon resident was recently reunited with her stolen bicycle thanks to the efforts of a tenacious detective. Maria Harral reported her bicycle, which is her sole means of transportation, stolen in December.
Harral is also an avid bicyclist who attends charity bicycle rides to benefit those in need. Detective Corporal Rich Persson found Harral’s bike and returned it to her in less than a week, according to police officials.
“Detective Persson is awesome! He put a lot of work into getting my bike back,” Harral said via social media.
