Livermore Police Officer Crashes Boy’s Birthday Party, Residents Fall in Love
This police officer made a fan for life while inspiring a young boy to pursue his dreams.
LIVERMORE, CA — A Livermore boy recently celebrated his sixth birthday with an unexpected but welcome party crasher. Livermore Police Officer Craig Giacometti stopped by the little boy’s house to celebrate after learning that the boy dreams of becoming a police officer.
Giacometti, while a bit taller than the rest of the partygoers, fit right in with the guests at the police-themed bash. The birthday boy, who lives on Giacometti’s patrol sector, spent some quality time checking out the police car before posing for photos with the local celebrity.
Livermore police officials shared the touching photos on Facebook and the positive comments from residents poured in. The photos have garnered almost 800 likes since they were posted Tuesday.
