Police said the driver of a silver Mercedes hit a pedestrian, another vehicle, crossed the center line on Liberty Road and crashed head-on into an MTA bus before the driver got out and ran away on foot, according to WJZ. The pedestrian was reportedly pronounced dead at the scene and passengers on the bus had minor injuries. >>> Read more.
New trial dates have been set for the officers charged in the death of Freddie Gray, according to reports.
Gray, a 25-year-old Baltimore man who was arrested April 12, 2015, died a week later from an injury that prosecutors allege he sustained in a police van. After Gray’s funeral in late April, riots erupted in parts of Baltimore, requiring the National Guard to help quell the unrest. >>> Read more.
