1 Dead, Another Injured In East Birmingham Shooting
A victim was shot and killed at a home at 1148 Dogwood Lane Thursday morning.
BIRMINGHAM AL — Police are investigating a homicide early Thursday morning in east Birmingham. The incident occurred around 6:30 a.m. at 1148 Dogwood Lane.
Sgt. Johnny Williams of the Birmingham Police Department said officers on the scene found a victim unresponsive with gunshot wounds. That victim was pronounced dead on the scene. Another victim was located who also was suffering from gunshot wounds and was taken tio UAB Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Williams said no suspects are in custody, and this is an ongoing investigation. Additional details will be provided as they become available.
