BIRMINGHAM, AL — Dominating the headlines in the Birmingham area this past week was the kidnapping of 3-year-old Kamille McKinney from the Tom Brown Village housing community in Avondale.
The search for Kamille led police all over the city, as they looked into every lead they received. Still, a week after her disappearance, Kamille has not been found.

Birmingham Approves Non-Smoking 'Health District'
The Birmingham City Council Tuesday approved an ordinance that will ban smoking in the newly named Health District on the city's Southside. The district encompasses 100 blocks.

The Search Continues For Kamille McKinney
The reward in the abduction case of 3-year-old Kamille McKinney has just increased from $5,000 to $25,000. Crime Stoppers Wednesday added the extra reward money to Gov. Kay Ivey's original total.
