BIRMINGHAM, AL — The reward in the abduction case of 3-year-old Kamille McKinney has just increased from $5,000 to $25,000. Crime Stoppers Wednesday added the extra reward money to Gov. Kay Ivey's original total.
Ivey announced the $5,000 reward Tuesday. "At this time, we offer our fervent prayers for law enforcement and all involved in the search," Ivey said in a statement. "We pray for Kamille's family and that God will continue to watch over Kamille until she is safely returned home soon. Alabama, let's bring Kamille home!"
Wednesday, Crime Stoppers of Metro Alabama Chairman Frank Barefield, announced a separate $20,000 reward comprised of donations from private citizens and businesses.

"A lot of agencies don’t pay a reward until the conviction of an offender," Barefield said at a press conference Wednesday. "With Crime Stoppers, your tip only has to assist law enforcement in solving that crime."
Kamille was last seen at a birthday party in the housing community at 8:30 p.m. Saturday. She was last seen wearing a pink t-shirt with leopard print design and leopard print shorts with no shoes. According to witnesses, a woman in a dark SUV left the location with Kamille.
A reward totaling $25,000 is offered for Kamille's safe return.

A man who was detained after the kidnapping of 3-year-old Kamille McKinney was released on bond Thursday morning. Patrick Devone Stallworth, 39, bonded out of the Jefferson County Jail at 3:22 a.m, after being charged possession of child pornography.
Stallworth has not been charged with any crime related to the Kamille McKinney abduction, although he was allegedly in the vehicle that was seen leaving the birthday party with Kamille in the Tom Brown Village housing community Saturday night.
Stallworth and Derick Irisha Brown were taken into custody Oct. 15 after police were informed that the vehicle said to have been involved in the kidnapping was spotted at a Center Point apartment complex.
Stallworth was charged with possession of child pornography and possession with intent to distribute child pornography. The images were discovered on his phone during the ongoing investigation into the abduction.
Brown remains in the Jefferson County Jail after authorities filed a motion Tuesday to revoke her bond in a 2018 case in which Brown is accused of abducting her three children from DHR custody. Brown also uses the name Quentesa Jackson.
