Birmingham's new pro football team in the Alliance of American Football league will begin play in February of 2019, and while the roster - and name - of the team have yet to be determined, at least one probable member of the team will be a familiar face to Alabama sports fans as former Crimson Tide RB Trent Richardson says he plans to sign with the team.

The search for a Pelham man missing since Friday, July 13 has come to a tragic end. The deceased body of Derek Carlington was found at Oak Mountain State Park by Pelham PD.
Birmingham Man Charged With Murder
A man has been charged in the February 23 shooting death of 29-year-old Monty Lewayne Davis. The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office announced 37-year-old Rajuar Akeil Key has been charged with the murder, and remains at large.
Hoover PD Looking For Fraud Suspects
The Hoover Police Department is seeking assistance in identifying two individuals that are wanted for questioning in a fraudulent use of credit/debit card case which occurred June 17.
