BIRMINGHAM, AL — Gov. Kay Ivey set forth another stage in the reopening of Alabama amid the coronavirus pandemic, as more businesses and venues were allowed to open this weekend. Although the virus continued to spread and new cases in Alabama have not leveled off, Ivey noted that staying home for months on end "is not realistic."
