BIRMINGHAM, AL — Hoover residents received a scare when a school bus crashed, injuring four students. That news came at the beginning of a week that saw a bevy of stories involving injuries and hospitals.

Not all of the stories involving hospitals were full of bad news, however, when a Birmingham area hospital was named one of the nation's best in a recent report.

Birmingham Hospital Ranked Among America's Best In 2020

The health care information company Healthgrades recently released its latest rankings of the best hospitals in the United States. UAB Hospital was the only Alabama hospital named as part of the 250 hospitals listed.
