• Foley police seek man after dog attack seriously injures woman (wkrg.com) — Foley police are searching for 33-year-old Nikeyl Jones after a woman he lived with was seriously injured in an alleged pit bull attack at a McGaster Trail home. Officers seized five dogs, euthanizing two on scene, and Jones now faces charges under Alabama's Emily's Law and for reckless endangerment. Residents are urged to contact Foley Police with any information on his whereabouts.
   

• Foley Event Offers Free Services To Baldwin County Residents (obawebsite.com) — Foley residents in need can access free meals, housing help, and other services at a Community Resource Fair on Thursday, Oct. 8, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Foley United Methodist Church. The Sea Glass Initiative is gathering nonprofits and agencies offering everything from mental health and employment support to senior and homeless services, and local organizations can still sign up as vendors for free.
   

• Baldwin County schools prepare for National Walk and Roll to School Day (gulfcoastmedia.com) — Families with students at Foley Elementary and other Baldwin County schools can join National Walk and Roll to School Day on Oct. 7, turning the morning commute into a community event. Schools will set their own meeting spots within a mile of campus to promote exercise, safety, and neighborhood connections, with one Fairhope school observing on Oct. 9 instead.
