• Bluff Amphitheater reopens in Etowah County with plans for live music (wvtm13.com) — Hokes Bluff is getting a major entertainment boost as the historic Gold City Music Park reopens as the Bluff Amphitheater, complete with a 7,000-capacity professional concert stage. Community leaders marked the ribbon-cutting Monday, and the first big show, featuring The Frontmen, is set for June 6, promising more live music and community events for Northeast Alabama.
