Hoover Shooting: 1 Man Injured, Released From Hospital
A shooting in Hoover Sunday resulted in a man sent to the hospital with injuries.
HOOVER, AL — A man was hospitalized Sunday after a shooting in a Hoover neighborhood just after midnight. Hoover police say the 28-year-old man was shot while sitting in a friend's car.
Hoover police said the incident occurred in the 400 block of O’Neal Drive, where the victim and a witness stated they were sitting in a vehicle outside of the witness’s residence when an unknown male approached the driver’s side window and fired one shot.
The victim was transported to UAB Hospital where he was treated and released hours later. Both the victim and witness described the suspect as a black male wearing a dark hoodie who fled on foot after the shooting.
