  1. Despite Madison County Commissioner Violet Edwards advocating, the commission voted against funding the other half of the cost to allow “Speakin’ Out News” to publish the voter list. However, Commissioner Edwards has decided to fund the other $7500 out of her district’s budget, with the other half coming from United Women of Color. (WHNT, Patch)
  2. Huntsville Transit is offering free rides to the staff and students of colleges in the Huntsville area. This is in honor of Earth Day on April 22, so between April 18-22, you can reduce your footprint! (WHNT)
