- A COVID-19 vaccine drive will be hosted by Outokumpu stainless steel manufacturer in Calvert this Saturday. The clinic will be open to the public for ages 12 and up. Employees of manufacturing businesses located along Highway 43 in Mobile and Washington counties are also eligible to join the event. (WKRG News 5)
- Governor Kay Ivey confirmed Wednesday that a group of Afghan refugees will be coming to Mobile. The State Department is working to place 10 Afghans throughout the city. As of now, it's not clear what organization will be taking the refugees in or when they will arrive. (FOX10 News)
- The Mobile County Health Department is reporting an estimated 262,000 gallons of sewage has overflowed in Saraland. (WKRG News 5)
- The remnants of Hurricane Nicholas have flooded multiple south Baldwin County roads into Mobile County. (NBC 15 WPMI)
- Longtime councilman Fred Richardson, who is retiring from the Mobile City Council Nov. 1, endorsed former Mobile County Circuit Judge Herman Thomas ahead of the Oct. 5 runoff. (AL.com)
