🌱 Restaurant Owner Pleads Guilty + Youth Violence Prevention Week

Here are the top three stories today in Mobile:
- The last defendant in the illegal immigrant employment case has pled guilty. Zheng Guo Zheng has pleaded guilty to concealing and harboring illegal immigrants while employing them at a Chinese restaurant off of Mobile's Airport Boulevard. The restaurant was raided by federal agents last year during an investigation. (Fox 10 News)
- A South Alabama native has been tapped to lead the National Weather Service in Mobile. Jason Beaman is the head meteorologist at the weather center overseeing the center's operations and personnel. He has been with the Mobile office for almost 13 years. (AL.com)
- The City of Mobile is preparing for its Youth Violence Prevention Week. The focus of the week is to bring the community together while encouraging the city's youth to stop gun violence. The week's first event will be at Mardi Gras Park with a prayer service on Sunday. The week's programming is under the city's #OperationEchoStop. (Fox 10 News)
