• Goodwill employee hit by car on Air Base Boulevard; driver wanted by Montgomery police (wsfa.com) — A Goodwill employee was struck by a hit-and-run driver while crossing Air Base Boulevard in Montgomery to catch a city bus, sparking urgent calls for better pedestrian protections at the nearby intersection. The worker suffered only minor injuries, but Goodwill of Central Alabama is pressing city authorities for a proper crosswalk and other safety measures as Montgomery police search for the fleeing driver.
