2 Arrested On Drug Charges After Search Of Center Point Home
Trussville police arrested a man and a woman after a search of a home in Center Point Jan. 13 produced evidence of drug activity.
JEFFERSON COUNTY, AL — A man and woman were arrested Jan. 13 after a police search of a home in Center Point revealed evidence of drug trafficking. Zachary Ellenburg, 38, of Center Point, and Ashley Files, 41, of Clay face multiple drug charges.
Trussville police said they searched the home, in the 1400 block of 4th Way Northwest, and found nearly 50 grams of methamphetamine, Suboxone pills, THC wax, LSD, marijuana, GHB and drug trafficking equipment.
Ellenburg is charged with trafficking methamphetamine, unlawful possession of marijuana first-degree, unlawful possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Files is charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
