Burglary Suspect Arrested In Center Point
A homeowner in Center Point called 911 to report that she could hear someone breaking into her home.

CENTER POINT, AL — A homeowner in Center Point called 911 just before noon Friday to say she heard someone breaking into her home, a call that led to the arrest of 18-year-old Willie Bailey Jr.
Deputy Chief David Agee of the Jefferson County Shieriff's Office said deputies arrived at the home n the 500 block of 27th Ave NW to find Bailey leaving the scene. After detaining Bailey, deputies reportedly found some of the homeowner's property in Bailey's possession.
Bailey was arrested and charged with burglary, unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle, criminal mischief and theft of property, with bonds totaling $15,600.
