Center Point Man Hospitalized After Shooting
A man was shot while outside his home in Center Point Wednesday afternoon, but did not sustain life-threatening injuries.
JEFFERSON COUNTY, AL — A Center Point man was shot outside his home Wednesday afternoon. The incident occurred just before 5 p.m. in the 400 Block of 13th Court NW.
Sgt. Joni Money of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said the victim had been outside of his home when a vehicle drove by and fired multiple shots. The victim was taken to UAB Hospital for treatment of his injuries, which Money said are not life-threatening.
Money said investigators do not have any suspects or a motive in this case.
