Counterfeiting Suspects Arrested By Trussville Police
Trussville police arrested two people Thursday who are charged with forgery involving counterfeit money.

TRUSSVILLE, AL — Two people were arrested in Trussville Thursday in connection with counterfeit money being passed throughout the Birmingham area. A Trussville Tribune report said detectives arrested Carl Williams Jr. and Angela Morris in Hoover.
The report said the Trussville PD was notified by employees at TJ Maxx in Trussville when the suspects made purchases with the counterfeit money. After an investigation, police discovered the suspects were involved in the passing of more than $12,000 in counterfeit money in the last six months.
Williams and Morris were transferred to the Jefferson County Jail where they are each being held on $60,000 bond.
