Hewitt-Trussville Lineman Named 7A Lineman Of The Year
Alabama commit and Hewitt-Trussville standout Pierce Quick has been named the Class 7A Lineman of the Year.

TRUSSVILLE, AL - While the Hewitt-Trussville Huskies fell short of their goal of winning a 7A state championship in 2017, several Huskies have received individual accolades in the off-season. One of the Huskies most decorated players is offensive lineman Pierce Quick, who was this week named the 7A Lineman of the Year by the Alabama Sports Writers Association.
The 6-5, 285 pound Quick, who was also named to USA Today's All-Alabama Team, is considered one of the top lineman prospects in the country. He has already committed to the University of Alabama. Quick chose Alabama over more than 20 schools that offered him a scholarship. Quick had offers from most SEC schools, in addition to Miami, Louisville, Oregon, Michigan, Oklahoma and Clemson, among others.
